Twitter apps are a bit arbitrary sometimes. People come up with ideas that are not really going to translate into useful applications, but which (in retrospect) are among the ones I remember for months after I have reviewed them.
I don’t know how “success” should really be measured, and whether being noteworthy weighs more than being really useful or viceversa. What I do know is that this Twitter app is one I am not forgetting about in a rush.
What it lets you to do is nothing more and nothing less than gamble your Twitter followers as if they were casino chips consigned to the roulette. You play against other twitterers, and the winner takes it all. Cool? Yes. Weird. Definitely. And it gets even better when you learn how the actual battle is carried out. Through a gorilla. You have to shake a giant gorilla. Ha. There you go. My hat’s off to the folks who came up with this little baby. Not because it is useful or groundbreaking, but because it stands out so notably from the pack of Twitter apps that it can but make you look at it for a while.
