Sanket Ghosh, a Bengaluru-based software engineer, boldly left his high-paying job at a leading tech firm to pursue his startup dreams. His annual salary of ₹1 crore was insufficient to keep him from pursuing his entrepreneurial aspirations. Ghosh’s startup, InnoVantage, aims to provide affordable digital tools for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) that often lack the resources for high-end technology.
The journey was difficult, with funding issues and market competition posing significant challenges. “The first few months were incredibly challenging. We faced funding issues, and there were times I doubted my decision,” Ghosh admitted.
“But the belief in our vision kept us going.”
A prominent venture capital firm’s investment validated their hard work and allowed them to expand their team and resources.

Ghosh’s leap into entrepreneurship
Within two years, InnoVantage served over 500 SMEs across the country, and their innovative approach garnered accolades.
Despite numerous technical challenges and fierce market competition, Ghosh’s persistence paid off when InnoVantage won a government contract to digitize operations for several public sector enterprises. Today, InnoVantage thrives financially and continues to grow its impact, making a significant difference in the lives of many business owners. “Leaving my ₹1 crore job was the hardest decision I’ve ever made, but it was also the best.
The satisfaction of seeing my startup flourish and make a real impact is unparalleled. I hope my story inspires others to follow their passions and take that leap of faith,” Ghosh shared. Ghosh’s story is a testament to the power of dreams and the courage to chase them in a world where job security is often paramount.
