This office is the Government’s principal revenue collection agency, and is part of the Treasurer’s portfolio. Its role is to manage and shape tax, excise, and superannuation systems that fund services for Australians. Through this site you can access much institutional information about this government office, including its structure, way of working, and public documents. However, the site was developed to a more ambitious objective: to become a useful service for citizens and visitors in general, so that the can access documentation of their interest and manage relevant issues through the services available online.
