net is a site entirely devoted to astronomy, but specially created for those who aren’t experts on the field. In fact, according to its creator, this is “a web for the astronomically disadvantaged”. The site is run by a professional astronomer named Sten Odenwald. He is a researcher of the cosmic infrared background and space weather and he currently works for the NASA. Astronomy Café has been online since 1995, offering essays and collections of visual imagery in astronomy. Its main section is called Ask The Astronomer, where any visitor can post a question, which are answered by Odenwald himself. Since it was launched, he got 3.000 questions. No more questions can be submitted nowadays, since they were getting repetitive, but any user can now access to all this answers for free.
