Apex Legends celebrated its sixth anniversary with a major update called “Takeover.” The update brought new features, meta changes, and anti-cheat improvements to the popular battle royale game. One of the standout additions was the introduction of Creator Commissioners. This feature allowed popular content creators to bring unique challenges to the game, with rewards like Creator-selected Legendary Weapon Skins and Apex Packs for players who completed them.

The update also introduced significant changes for the Assault class. Legends in this class will receive new perks like Extra Firepower and Armed and Dangerous, offering extra ammo, grenade slots, and improved weapon handling. Every weapon in the game is also receiving a buff this season.

Apex Legends will host a special event featuring 36 Legendary or higher-tier items to celebrate the anniversary.

New Ways to Strategize with Arsenals

The addition of Arsenals is a game-changer for loot management. These weapon stations let players quickly gear up by offering all weapons of a single ammo type in one spot. This feature not only speeds up gameplay but also encourages smarter strategies, as players can plan their loadouts before even landing. Say goodbye to relying on random loot drops and hello to more controlled, tactical gameplay!

The show’s star is the new Mythic R-301, a Wraith-inspired weapon with three unlockable tiers and unique animations.

Another new feature is the addition of Arsenals. These are weapon stations featuring every weapon of a single ammo type, visible from the sky. This lets players strategize their gear acquisition and reduces reliance on random loot drops.
