This LTM encapsulates all the elements of the early game, offering a chance for old and new players alike to experience the battleground that kickstarted the phenomenon. Players can conquer Launch Royale challenges to unlock Legends and earn rewards like Apex Packs. The event also features a significant update to the beloved Legend Lifeline.

Equipped with a new, aggressive kit, Lifeline’s abilities aim to keep her in the thick of the action while still providing essential support to her teammates. Among her abilities:
Combat Glide: Allows Lifeline to use D.O.C. (Drone of Compassion) to briefly glide mid-air and revive teammates without compromising her defensive capabilities. D.O.C. Heal Drone: Now able to follow allies and provide continuous healing.
D.O.C. Halo: Activates a Halo Shield System, allowing players within to consume health and shield items faster. Rift Relics are mysterious items from another dimension that promise unique and powerful enhancements.
Nostalgic journey with Launch Royale
Players can grab the EPG-1 Launcher with splash damage and rocket-jumping capabilities, and other exotic Hop-Ups like Lifesteal. There’s also a new survival item: Boost Kits. These relics appear randomly during matches, offering significant advantages to those who secure them first.
Support class Legends now have access to new perks:
Heal Expert: Move at full walking speed while healing and gain double healing from small medical items. Revive Expert: Revives teammates 25% faster and grants health regeneration after a successful revive. Support Legends will retain access to their specialized supply bins, and banner crafting will be available to all Legends.
Adding a touch of flair, players can now acquire the new universal melee weapon, Raptor’s Claw. This karambit-style weapon is available in the Void Mercenary Store until January 7, 2025. It comes with six variants, including the Crystal Chamber Death Box and others with matching Death Boxes.
Apex Legends remains free to play on PS5 and PS4, now with support for the PlayStation 5 Pro, launching November 7, 2024.
