The Animal Humane Society dedicates to creating a more humane world for animals by promoting the responsible treatment of animals and by enriching the relationship between animals and people that enhances human lives immeasurably. It is the largest welfare organization in Minnesota, and it is supported only by donations and fees.
This society is a private, nonprofit organization with full-service facilities, a statewide presence and a national voice. How do they reach their mission? They do is through numerous services and products in three primary areas: Animal protection including rescue, investigation, and legislation; Direct care that includes sheltering, vet services, and adoption and placement; and Social engagement including education, community outreach, and partnerships.
