He’s currently an electrical engineering consultant for the aerospace research communities. Lee has designed over 100 paper airplanes over a 30 year period. He has even co-authored a book titled Paper Airplane Fold-A-Day Calendar that was published by Accord Publishing. AmazingPaperAirplanes.com features his old favorites as well as new designs that he has recently created for his grandchildren. The site was made to share his work with other children, their parents and teachers who enjoy paper airplanes.
Unusual designs features planes that are unusually shaped or origami types. Simple designs is more for the beginners and feature traditionals. The gallery is a page put together to be a show room for many cool airplanes from his latest design. His favorites, however, grace their own page and it includes four models from his original design and one modified version from another. They were selected because of their interesting shapes and good flight performance. All of these passed the Trans-living-room flight test, which means they flew more than 25 feet with a gentle horizontal toss across the living room, wall to wall. Each one is named by its real airplane appearance. They include brief summaries of the real planes and a video clip is included showing the real ones. AmazingPaperAirplanes.com is the site to go when looking for something new and appealing!
