The front page has a large amount of articles that relate to health news and details about doctors, and staff at the hospital. Altru.org is a great resource if you are researching a facility and want more information, or want to be up to date on what’s going on.
Patients have many resources available to them. On the right hand side of Altru systems welcome page there is a spot where patients can login to their account and learn more about care there. There is a resource for patient education where you can learn more about the hospital and what to expect for a procedure you may be having done at the health center. Other options including paying a bill and refilling your prescriptions conveniently online.
Visitors have many options on altru.org. They can look at how to become a volunteer, click on a link to create or login to a caring bridge website for a friend or family member. CaringBridge is a site where family members can create a page and others can login to be updated on how a loved one suffering a serious injury is doing. Altru also has an events calendar, Altru e-news, information on their foundation, you can send a patient a e-card, look at baby pictures in the baby gallery and more.
