AltaVistaCU.org is the home page of the Alta Vista Credit Union. AltaVistaCU was founded in 1943 and originally served military personnel of the Norton Air Force Base and their immediate families. They obtained a community charter in the 1990s after the base closure and allowed anyone who lived, worked, or worshipped in the San Berardino County an opportunity to join a credit union. In addition to serving the San Berardino County, residents and employees in Riverside County and those currently employed by one of their many Select Employee Groups (SEGs) are also eligible for membership. AltaVistaCU.org offers many competitive products and rates on a wide range of deposit accounts and loans, along with electronic services and personal service. Additionally, deposits are insured up to a combined $250,000 by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF). Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are insured separately up to $250,000 by the NCUA.
There are three locations available to AltaVistaCU.org customers. Headquarters is located in Redlands, while the other two locations are in San Berardino and Rialto. AltaVistaCU.org offers many products and services such as loans, savings, checking, share certificates and money market options. They provide Visa credit cards and Visa cash and checkcards to their members. IRAs and a variety of insurance options are also provided. Not to mention if anyone is in debt – a debt protection is offered. AltaVistaCU allows its customers to use mobile banking, ATMs, point of sale purchases, bill pay, and the option to earn Vantage Points, or rewards, for simply using their card.
