Almond.com – A New Life for a Tech Geek

Gary Almond is the co-owner and manager of Four Corners Harley Davidson, a motorcycle dealership in Farmington, New Mexico. He also is the creator and maintainer of almond.com, a website devoted to motorcycles and his other interests.

Almond.com shows off Mr. Almond’s expertise not only in motorcycles, but in photography as well. The site discusses and displays a few of his nature photographs and he talks about where they were taken and their subjects. Almond is also a devotee of flying, and a link displays two pictures taken when he flew the Fujifilm blimp, showing him in the pilot’s seat as well as an overview picture of the blimp itself. But the main focus of almond.com is Gary Almond’s background and biography. He lists his past work experience in the technology field as co-founder of MediaFlex, Inc, where he was Vice President of Operations. He was also Executive Vice President and co-founder of Concord Growth Corporation/EXXE Data, and was a General Partner of Nest Ventures, a California venture capital firm. Most recently he and his wife Gayle relocated to the Farmington area, where he runs Four Corners Harley – the site provides a link to that motorcycle dealership, which offers Buell, Yamaha, Suzuki and Polaris products in addition to Harley Davidson motorcycles. Almond.com chronicles his customization and travel activities that are based around the dealership, including photos of recent trips. The site shows the new lifestyle of a former tech executive who left the fast lane in order to pursue the things he loves.
