Accuracy in Media is a non-profit, people’s watchdog of the news media that critiques disastrous and substandard news stories, and sets the record straight on important issues that have received influenced coverage. AIM counts with a specialized group of professionals on the journalism field on their staff. The most remarkable ones are: Don Irvine (President of the Board since 2003) Deborah Lambert (Director of Special Projects) Charles Rozier (former captain of the U.S. Navy, now Director of the Accuracy In Media and also Allied Educational Foundation Speaker Bureau) Roger Aronoff (Executive Secretary, Media Analyst) between others. Their main function is to encourage every member of the media to report the news fairly and objectively (without resorting to partiality or devotion). In other words: giving support to those media-workers that do their job as they are supposed to.
