Un Chien Andalou, Svengali, Killers from Space, these are just some of the visual pickings on offer at ADNStream another TV on the internet site which hails from Spain. ADNStream is actually quite reminiscent of Joost except that it works right in your browser and you don’t have to install a thing.
The first thing you’ll see is a nebula of amorphous colors which acts as a cool prelude to what’s in store. On the sides are two selection panels, one labeled ADN, the other TV channels. The former, once you click on it, opens up a screen in which you can select from a variety of different video clips. TV Channels, on the other hand, gives you a selection of different viewing genres: Manga films, Vanguard and Classics; it’s here that you’ll find such goodies as Invasion of the Body Snatchers, Rashomon, the Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, and Tales of Kama Sutra in the Garden. The control panel allows you to adjust to full screen or widescreen mode; additionally, you can bookmark and email videos, and read a short synopsis. You may create a user account, although it’s not necessary to watch videos. ADNStream is definitely worth a look, although a broadband internet connection is highly recommended.

Some Questions About AdnStream.tv
A couple things: most of the written content is in Spanish, that alone may deter users who may think it’s only got Spanish language content; also, videos can be slow to load, and the selection may not be the most entertaining for younger audiences. Apart from that, how will they market themselves and compete against Joost et al?
