Worldwatch.org is the official website of the Worldwatch Institute, a globally focused environmental research institute.
It was founded back in 1974 and nowadays its works are present in more than 100 countries, though their current geographic focus is on Brazil, China, India, Europe, and the United States. Since 1984 the institute has been publishing an annual report called “The State of The World”, which provides information and raises awareness about urgent global environmental problems and the ideas to address them.
