There is already a wide host of travel magazines that can be found on the web. These offer tips and advice on issues such as where to go and where to stay.
The World Hum website focuses on the journey itself – that is, in the concept of “travelling” per se. The World Hum staff is dedicated to exploring and analysing the many aspects of travel, namely how it changes the traveler, how it changes the way he sees the world, and how this changes the world itself in turn. To these ends, the site is split into several subsections. To begin with, the “Dispatches” pages cover the experiences that the World Hum team members have when traveling all over the globe. Books are likewise recommended, and a section which goes by the name of “Speaker’s Corner” offers additional insight. A link to a travel blog is also provided for further information. Lastly, a newsletter is available, and those who wish to subscribe can do so by following the pertinent link.
