Wobblog.com – Digg for Blogs

Wobblog.comWobblog is a Digg-like site that aims to collect best stories from all the blogs that are out there. The readers rank the top stories and those get put to the front of the page, like Digg.

Many of the stories that made it to the top were….well…..a bit salacious, but I guess that is hard to control on a user-generated content site. Or is it? The FAQ section didn’t tell a lot about the site or its methodologies, but it does say that its “Karma” algorithm is the extent of control and moderation over the site. The rest is up to the community. Hm…not sure that is a great idea given the adult content on the site, but it is what it is. Otherwise, the site doesn’t give a lot of insight and doesn’t offer a lot of orginality, but maybe it doesn’t need to or want to.

Wobblog.com In Their Own Words

Why Wobblog.com It Might Be A Killer

News aggregators, especially those driven by the community, are extremely popular on the internet, and this site is taking its “news” from blogs. While a lot of the stories/blogs contain adult content, these kind of subjects do elicit a lot of interest and some of the stories are quite entertaining.
