World Travellers, unite on Wegor.com.
It’s the new community kid on the block that allows you to share your travel experiences while gaining insite from other travellers as well. Write and upload a blog describing where you went, what you saw, who you met, what you learned, the smells, the sounds, the culture. You can also mark on a map where you went to show others just how worldly you are. Upload your travel photos and browse tons of content from other travellers, all free of charge. Now if only travelling itself were free.
Wegor.com In Their Own Words
“It’s a community site for travel experience sharing. You can share your travel photos, describe your experiences in the travel blog, and mark your journeys on the map.
You can also browse thousands of interesting stories and photos of other travellers.
And it’s free of charge.”
Why Wegor.com It Might Be A Killer
Looking at some of the uploaded content from Wegor, the content seems to be lacking in terms of blog stories, which is a feature they highlight on their site. It seems to be more of a photo-sharing site, since I don’t see any mention of recent or popular blogs on their homepage. You can browse featured albums or just look at random photos. Some of the photography is well-done, but it is by no means a professional website for pro travel photographers. It seems more like a niche community site that will be completely reliant on UGC.
Some Questions About Wegor.com
Will they create a recent and most popular section for travellers’ blogs? Have there even been blogs uploaded on the site? If so will they make them more accessible?
