Wccls.org is the website of the Washington County Cooperative Library Services.
It provides information about public libraries, libraries’ services, and periodicals. In order to learn more about any library you have to click on its name and a picture with a full description will appear, including the address, programs, phone number, special events, book sales, and much more. There is a category named Lending Library where you can access to the library catalog, book reviews, cultural passes, books on CD, books on tape, music, Spanish material, parent and teacher resources, and much more. The WCCLS provides excellent countywide library service to all resident, and by sharing materials between libraries the size of the “collective” collection is about 1.3 million items. If you want, you can become a volunteer, there are hundreds of volunteers in WCCLS performing a variety of tasks. Volunteers assist with library programs and events, process materials, greet people, check in library materials, serve on Boards and committees, and much more.
