URLTide is yet another aggregator of news that collects links from the most popular blogs and news sources available, and has them displayed in categories like “Business”, “Lifestyle”, “Tech”, “Mainstream” and “Comedy”.
As it is the case with sites of this nature, the most popular links are all collected and displayed on the home page.
In this way, those who need a news fix but have only a couple of minutes to spare will still be able to get what they want.
And those who have more time will be capable of checking out all the stories that have been published over the course of the past last week. Links to the main resources that are scoured are likewise provided on the main page – Digg, Lifehacker, Reddit…
The site is nothing really impressive, but to be fair it is still being put into place. Features like a daily digest blog and the ability to save URLs and have customizable feeds will be implemented before too long. That should make it stand as a slightly more interesting alternative to the many sites that do the same already available.
