UPShare.me is a brand-new service for the sharing of files.
It aims to stand as an alternative to other related sites like Rapidshare and Megaupload. I don’t think it has what it would take to dethrone any of these (or other sites like DepositFiles for that matter), but it is always good to have alternatives to weigh up and realize how good something you have always used really is.
UPShare.me is usable both for free and by buying a premium subscription. Free accounts have all the constraints we are familiarized with by now such as file size limitations and waiting periods when you want to get a file, and these limitations are obviously lifted when you go for the premium service. A nice touch is that there are premium plans of every denomination – you can actually buy one that lasts only 2 days. Of course, premium accounts lasting for one month, one year and two years are likewise offered on the site.
As I said above, this offers no significant improvement over other sites that have been around for longer, but that doesn’t make it any less usable. I encourage you to give it a try in person, but I doubt you will draw a radically different conclusion.
