Unitus Community Credit Union is one of the oldest credit unions the state of Oregon, serving more than 60,000 members with over 70 years of experience. The credit union began serving the telephone employees but has expanded greatly since its conception.
The credit union’s goal to serve its members has not changed. For Unitus, members always come first in all aspects of business. You can become a member by depositing money at Unitus. As like with any other credit union, investing means becoming an owner and as such you have a say in the decisions that are made. Unitus is a not-for-profit cooperative. After expenses are paid and reserves set aside, the leftover earnings are retuned as higher dividend, lower loan rates, and free or low-cost services.
