Ubikuo is sort of like an erasable online message board that you can use for yourself or share with others. You can write your grocery list for private use or post the sale of your car for your neighborhood.
For public lists, you can then get other people to do the same and create your own local craigslist using this platform (with the ability to remove notes once not needed, of course). You can view the note on your PDA or mobile phone, or online, which of course would be particularly useful if you reach Whole Food”s and forgot your list. Ubikuo aims to make your life easier and more efficient with this service. The site is well-designed and has good walkthroughs of how to use the service, but I”m still unconvinced about who would use the site.

Some Questions About Ubikuo.com
I can see why this service might be useful if you don”t have email on your mobile phone or PDA and you can access the list through the internet (assuming your phone has easy internet service); but if you do have email, why wouldn”t you just send yourself an email on those devices with your notes/lists? If you don”t have email or good internet service on your cell, why wouldn”t you just write your list down on paper or print out a list through Word? Of course, if you want to create an online message board for your friends, family or coworkers, I could see the value of this site. But, then again, why not use Craigslist or the myriad of other neighborhood social networking sites out there?
