Twipik is a service that aims to stand as a much simpler alternative to TwitPic, YFrog and every other app for sharing images on Twitter. Now, whether TwitPic is really something that needs to be simplified is left to question.
Let’s just say that what Twipik does is to present you with a barebones system for the uploading of images to Twitter.
The site comprises a log in button for authenticating who you are, and a large “Upload Photos” button for the instant sharing of your images. Nothing more. Nobody would be left wondering how to use this site if they decide to give it a try.
The one and only thing that merits a special mention is that you can use Twipik as a mere storage service. That is, if you just want to upload your images somewhere in order to back them up then you will be able to do that through this site. They will become hosted online, but they will be visible to no person. Neither your followers nor strangers will be able to access them.
