Turbostart has launched TS Bridge, a new platform that connects investors with vetted, high-potential startups. The launch marks the company’s fifth anniversary and aims to revolutionize startup growth globally. TS Bridge streamlines the investment process by providing investors access to startups that have undergone rigorous vetting to ensure quality and potential for success.
The platform features two investment categories: Scout, which focuses on campus-led innovation, and Rise, which supports ventures up to Series A that have demonstrated traction and are ready to scale. Ganesh Raju, Founder and CEO of Turbostart, explained, “The key difference with TS Bridge is that no startup will be placed on the platform unless we have invested in it ourselves. For instance, if a startup is raising a million dollars, we will commit half—$500,000—from our fund, then open the remaining $500,000 to our investors.
Turbostart expects around 12 startups from the Scout programme and 12-15 from the Rise programme in the first year, totaling no more than 30 startups overall.
The platform has already selected its first four startups: REALM by Lighthouse Realty Solutions, ToHands, Skylark, and Autoflow.
Connecting investors with high-potential startups
TS Bridge offers a flexible subscription model for investors, with a minimum entry of Rs 10 lakh for individual investors and Rs 5 lakh for campus-level investments.
The platform provides end-to-end support, including mentorship and real-time investment tracking, through a mobile app that offers comprehensive due diligence reports and portfolio performance monitoring. Founded in 2019, Turbostart operates internationally, with a focus on nurturing innovation on campuses. The firm has a presence in India, the Middle East, the US, and Singapore, and currently manages four funds, each valued at $10 million in these regions.
Turbostart plans to launch new funds every 18 months, with a significant focus on Indian startups, allocating at least 70% of its funds to them. Over the past five years, Turbostart has evaluated over 6,000 startups worldwide, facilitating investments exceeding $50 million in more than 50 startups. The launch of TS Bridge is expected to set new benchmarks in angel investing, offering both investors and startups unique advantages and potentially accelerating their paths to success.
