TheOpenDoc aims to be the best online collaborative writing tool. The site creates multiple workspaces, each containing multiple text documents, so that you can have multiple people working on documents at one time.
Membership and all services are completely free. The site seems potentially useful, but there are no good online examples of how the site works. There were a few screenshots, but they were small and unreadable. I realize this site is brand new, but in order to prove the value of the site as compared to its competitors, it needs to improve its demonstration capabilities, as well as distinguish it from other similar sites.
