Seeing the world through the eyes of others is always fun, not to mention illuminating. There is a sort of beauty in everything, and sometimes we fail to notice it – even when it is obvious.
But others don’t, and through their eyes we do come to such a realization. The site under review right now adheres to that train of thought, as it will let anybody see pictures which others have taken of these places they spend their daily lives in. That is made possible by way of an iPhone app that lets anybody shoot and edit images and then have them posted online as part of “books” for everybody to see and comment.
The idea is to create a community which revolves around photography, and in which every member has an equal say. That is intrinsically attractive – let’s face it, we all regard ourselves as people who have a fine eye for at least capturing specific panoramas. This site will let us discover if that is indeed the case, or if we have some serious work to do. In any case, the existing community will mean this all is going to be as engaging and entertaining as it should be.
