It provides a place where recovering alcoholics and other chemically dependent persons, and their family members can meet in a safe and comfortable atmosphere. It is designed to be a haven and refuge from the stress of the outside world a place where fellowship, education and other activities leading to recovery may be found. The Agape Center is not affiliated with Alcoholics Anonymous or any other Twelve Step program. However, Twelve Step principles are used as the guiding standard in the daily operation and function of the Center.
