Texas Rangers have been around for many years providing protection for the state of Texas. The job description has changed a bit over the course of time but this organization still survives.
The Texas Ranger Hall of Fame and Museum is loaded with information on all that these men (and currently women too) have done and continue to do for public safety. The site provides historical data on this organization that began with men that were called to range the frontier back in 1823. Visitor have access to historical photos, anecdotes, and can even find a hall of fame that memorializes 30 rangers from different periods in time that gave their lives in the line of duty or served with great distinction. From those early cowboys that patrolled the border to modern day officers protecting the public, everything on these brave Texans can be found here. If you would like to visit the museum, you can find all the necessary information on location, visiting hours, admissions fees, and group rates.
