Now that social networking sites are all the rage, entrepreneurs are trying their best to exploit this market for their own profit. That”s the American way, I guess.
But, it is not exactly great news for users, as there is nothing unique or interesting about this latest entry called Tagged.com. In fact, they highlight their site as the best place for advertisers in the opening line of the “About Us” section. They don”t even pretend to be interested in creating a niche or evolving the networking idea. And, given that the first video up on the screen is “Girl Farts”, I can”t really say this site appeals to me in any way. But, the site gets extremely high traffic, so clearly I”m just the old fart who doesn”t get the MySpace phenomenon.
