About anything. Do you have a beef against a politician or a company or even your boss? Post it on this site by creating a subdomain with key words for your complaint. The current top complaints are “bush.suckered.us”, “fergie.suckered.us” and “myspace.really.suckered.us”. By doing this, your complaint is then searchable or ‘spidered’ by each word within the commas. The complaints get reviewed and rated by users, and the top complaints are highlighted on the suckered.us homepage. The service is free, unless you wish to create a new complaint on an old subdomain name. Then you must give the company $1.00 for each new complaint. That also raises the rating of the complaint site. To drop it one rank, it costs $5.00. If you want to remove a complaint, they have a calculation you can use to figure out how much removing it would cost. They have 198 complaints on their database now.

While the formatting is unique and perhaps on the cutting edge, it is a tad confusing and will likely deter many folks from posting on the site. It is also, sadly, quite boring. Having read the top complaints, I was not too impressed and was definitely distracted by the google ads surrounding every page. Also, while there were a few complaints with real meaning (such as those against corporations), they were still lacking in form and substance. The color scheme was also uninspiring.

It’s free, fun, & at times serious. There’s a complaint about GlaxoSmithKline Paxil scandal which hit world headlines in recent times & really deserves more exposure. Then there’s rather humourous swipes at celebrities, social networks, (yahoo & myspace included).

What is apparent is that suckered.us is using the recent fad for TLD extentions, (go.in etc., etc.), as wordplay but without the crassness of some of the urls around & with a genuinely useful & important social function. Whats even more interesting is the use of user created sub domains – something.suckered.us wherby each topic is searchable by keyword.
Of course, off-topic forums have provided this role for quite a while but once you’ve started your thread you can usually kiss it goodbye as it gets flushed down the datahole! Few are going to read it & its rare that important threads keep their ‘stickiness’
Suckered.us is new, but by all predictions, Alexa ranking included, will be one of the heavier trafficked start-ups of the year, it’s traffic is awesomw already. I’m looking forward to ranting & raving here for years to come. I understand that forums are on the way, complaint competitions, even a new social network for miserable types! Our goal is to article everything and anything in this unique and powerful manner. Shock value travels FAR and everyone clicks something that might say http://Bush.Suckered.Us or variants. As for boring. Well we only just started adding the articles in the last week. We sat on 148 test complaints for over 2 months working more on the technical side of the site before going ahead and setting up the articling system. With the ability now to StumbleUpon all articles we also intend to include Digg and Del.icio.us ability as well and quite possibly some new and unique features never seen before. We also have plans for a Facebook app for displaying the newest ten subdomains as well as a myspace, bebo, friendster, and common web widget. We do indeed intend to become one of the most visited websites on the internet in 2007 and plan to use the .us extension instead of a .com to do it as well.
