If you’re a programmer, then nobody would blame you if you ferociously complained about the lack of tools for collaborating in real time with your colleagues. While there’s lots and lots of apps for sharing your work online, they don’t let you become connected with each other as if you were all sitting side by side in the same room, and make both suggestions and corrections. Well, that’s what the team behind Stypi has set out to change. Stypi is an easy-to-use service that lets you code together with as many people are in your team. It’s all done by using a shared window where everybody can see the code you’re typing in real time, and tell you what he’d be doing differently.
Some of the many languages that are supported include C, C++, JAVA, PHP, CodlFusion, SQL, XML and CSS.
Stype is a free service, and it’s backed by YCombinator. You can easily register for an account, and documents are created just by giving them a name. And by spreading their unique URLs around you’ll be sharing them with all of your colleagues.
And Stypi comes with some neat features such as syntax highlighting, so that working together is even easier and faster.
