CSS and web design site StyleIgnite is a very cool repository of the latest and best designs on the web. Users can browse through hundreds upon hundreds of examples in the Style Gallery or they may submit their own.
Each example on the site includes an image, author deets, a brief explanation about how to use the style and licensing info. Categories get pretty specific, for instance they’ve got CSS layouts (one column, fixed, fluid), Forms (input fields, buttons), Graphics (gradients, icons), and Text elements (quotes, headings, bullets). Users of StyleIgnite can also download the code or images required to use the style, or if unavailable, a link to the author’s site will be provided. Additonal features include voting, commenting, and industry news. All in all, a very handy resource for web designers and developers.

“Styleignite.com will help you ‘ignite your site’! We want you to not only be inspired by some of the latest web styles and trends but also be able to use those styles on your own websites.”
Why StyleIgnite.com It Might Be A Killer
This site contains a great deal of practical information. I particularly like the ability to download code/images, as it allows users to implement designs and styles on their own. StyleIgnite is well organized, it’s free, and it comprehensive. I imagine web designers will take this very easily.
Some Questions About StyleIgnite.com
Although this seems like a good resource, the site needs to do more to get itself out there. They could add more premium content, such as editorial articles or even tutorials. How are designs vetted as far as copyright, etc?
