Just graduated law school and need help passing your state bar exam? StudyFor.com aims to help those who have questions about taking the bar exam — from studying to passing to figuring out what to eat and wear during the exam.
The site is simple in form and function: you simply enter a question, wait for an answer, and then enter that information in the public domain for community dialogue and rating (some sample questions have been, “should i hire a tutor?” “which is the best bar prep class in California?” “how early should i start studying,” etc). More than one person can answer each question, and the questioner gets to decide which answer was the best. The questions and answers are also tagged, to make it easy for someone to search the site and avoid asking repeat questions. Supposedly the site would like to expand to include other graduate exams, but for now the site is focused on bar exams for lawyers.

Why StudyFor.com It Might Be A Killer
Having taken and luckily passed the CA Bar exam (although admittedly many years ago), I can attest to the high level of anxiety surrounding the 3-day bar exam process. I can also attest to the high strung nature of many lawyers, which breeds never-ending questions around every detail and process of the exam. This site helps diffuse some of the uncertainty by offering a peer-group Q&A site, especially from those who just went through the same process recently.
Some Questions About StudyFor.com
How would law students find this site? Is there a reason they have not set up some basic Q&A’s surrounding each state bar exam, so there is first some standard advice and tips offered and then a place available for more detailed questions (and lawyers will always have more questions)? And why is the design and layout so 2002? The premise is good, but the execution is weak. How do they plan to make any money?
