The Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) is fostering innovation through its Centres of Entrepreneurship (CoEs) across the country. These CoEs focus on emerging technologies and support the tech startup ecosystem in India. STPI has set up 24 domain and sector-focused CoEs nationwide.
They optimize technological expertise, empower youth, and drive innovation, especially in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities. Each CoE provides an integrated support system for startups. This includes funding, IP facilitation, regulatory guidance, mentorship, technical support, lab infrastructure, and market access.
Stpi centers boosting startup ecosystems
The CoEs help startups develop solutions using technologies like AI, ML, Blockchain, AR-VR, Deep Tech, and Industry 4.0.
The impact has been significant. 665 startups have been supported, 707 new products created, and 399 IPR filings made.
