The main goal at this site is education. That’s why this organization has been working for over 60 years to improve education through many nationally recognized programs and services.
Sreb.org is the online version of the Southern Regional Education Board, a nonprofit, nonpartisan institution that works with leaders and policy-makers in 16 member states to contribute to pre-K through postsecondary education. Through this site citizens in any of these states can access a wide range of online services, as well as a large amount of useful information about the objectives and activities carried on by the organization. By accessing the links on the left hand side of your screen, visitors can get information about the educational programs available; some of these include collaborative technology, improvement network, and many other innovative initiatives to help its member states lead the nation in educational progress. Specific sections include postsecondary education, nursing education, early childhood, and middle grades education, among others.
