Sproutliner is an interesting simple to-do list creator that lets you make your lists without having to register. To use Sproutliner, all you have to do is think up a title for your list, say, “This Week’s Tasks”.
From there, you can create as many categories as you like (for example, “Groceries”, which you can toggle off and on, indicating completion (green check mark) or unfinished (red x mark). You can also create subcategories for these main categories by clicking “Shift + Enter”. Additionally, you can insert columns next to your rows of tasks to allow for more ways to manage your data (this could be a good way to list your kid’s names next to various household chores, for instance). Everything is performed in-real time, so there’s no need to click any “submit” button or constantly be saving your work. You can always change your categories by dragging them around by the grey bullets next to each label, and you can create new projects till your heart’s content. When you want to access one of these projects, simply return to the Sproutliner homepage, and enter a given project title into the searchbar.

Sproutliner couldn’t be easier to use, especially since there’s no registration required. I tried it out myself, and it’s really easy to customize your lists and set them up so that they cater specifically to certain tasks. The auto-saving is key; everything is stored for you automatically and all changes are recorded in real-time.
