MiniBay section in which they can freely advertise their eBay item. The concept is similar to the MillionDollarHomepage and offshoots such as Pixelotto. While users can post their items without paying a cent, there is space reserved for paid adverts. These billboard spots, dubbed million dollar sponsors and major sponsors are for eBay store owners and each incur an advertising charge. There are 136 spaces available, and each can have more than one sponsor. Each location costs $100, but that amount is upped by 25% with each new sponsor. Currently there aren’t any million dollar or platinum sponsors, but there are twelve items listed in the miniBay section.
