This is one for Apple fanboys and fangirls everywhere. Named Spark, it is a lightweight app that you can use to quickly jot down anything that you have to do and have it synchronized with iCal.
Each task that you add by way of the provided interface can be accompanied by notes, and you can also situate tasks under other tasks in the event you are working on something big (IE, writing a script) and the different parts of it are coming to you over time. In that way, you can prevent your dashboard from becoming cluttered with tasks that taken out of context don’t add up to that much.
Besides, those who are keener on working with the keyboard instead of working with the mouse have been kept in mind – a great number of shortcuts are actually supported.
Spark can be downloaded through the site, and the file is not only lightweight (little more than 1 MB when zipped), but also completely simple to install and launch. The synchronization with iCal is actually completely automatically, so that whenever anything changes in Spark the change will be reflected in your calendar – no need to input anything manually.
