If your son or daughter has always been curious about space and wants to know what it’s like to be an astronaut, Space Camp might just be the program for them. Space Camp uses space and aviation as a platform to educate children ages 7 to 18 in the fields of math, science, and technology.
The Space Camp programs range from 3 to 8 days and allow kids to experience the wonder of science through state-of-the-art simulations, missions, rocket building, and robotics. Kids get to develop teamwork skills, communication, and confidence as they work on the projects assigned to them. The Aviation challenge program also range from 3 to 8 days and expose kids to high performance jet simulation, scenario based missions, land and water survival training, and flight dynamics. X-Camp activities are similar to the preparation that space shuttle and aviation crews go through before being added to active flight status. Kids will be able to enjoy science in a new way and perhaps even plant the seed for their future careers.
