Music streaming services are great inasmuch they provide a full social experience to users. That is, a service that only makes for listening one song after the other while you are sitting like a duck is not really entertaining. Named Soundtracker, it lets you not only listen to music online but also to learn what others are listening to. A lot of flexibility is added by letting you bring your whole social graph along (both Twitter and Facebook are supported), and a built-in messaging platform enables users to make the recommendation process that little more expedited.
With an iPhone app just having been released, this might be a service to keep a good watch on. Spotify is getting heavy competiton right from day one in the US.
