SolStation.Com provides information and software for those interested in astronomy and in writing, education, or entertainments related to science or speculative fiction.
At the top and bottom of the homepage you will find some categories that provide more information about this website. These categories are Visualizations, TTA, Sol Station, Orion’s Arm, Core, Cherryh Maps, and Astronomy Expert. At the left hand side of the homepage you will also find some sections including Mirrors, Maps, Software, Support, and Company. At the Mirrors section you will learn more about US East and US Gulf. You can check out the on-line star maps, just click and drag to view the local stars in 3D. Double-click to learn more about notable nearby stars, and to see orbit animations of multiple star and planetary satellite systems. The ChView Software enables you to make your own maps; the online version enables you to run web page applets using Java from Sun Microsystems, and the PC version is fro Microsoft Windows.
