Is there a better time to release a search engine for social photos now that Instagram is lauded as one of the coolest services around, and everybody is eagerly waiting for its interface to be honed? The ones who came up with Snapfitch certainly knew as much, for the site they have devised can gather together all the images that people are spreading around via Instagram and have them displayed for your viewing pleasure.
That will probably be the main appeal of the site, but it must be pointed out that Snapfinch goes well beyond Instagram. It can also fetch the images that are shared on Steply and Snapr, and display them with pride.
All of these images can be browsed by tag, and the site also has a series of menus for visualizing the most popular and the latest photos only. Adding some categories would do no harm, but I suppose that will come in due time.
