SmartMusic is a product of MakeMusic. It is an interactive, computer-based practice system that helps students get better faster, and makes practicing more fun.
It has amazing accompaniments for more than 30,000 titles, challenging exercises, and the ability to record personal CDs. How does it work? With SmartMusic loaded on a computer, students plug in a vocal or instrumental microphone and begin practicing. They play or sing their part with accompaniment and receive, in real time on the computer, detailed feedback on their performance. At the top of the homepage you will find some useful categories that provide information about this product. These categories are Teachers, Students and Parents, Hobbyists, Community, Order SmartMusic, Support, Find Music, and My Account. When using SmartMusic, you learn at your own pace. Start practicing slowly until you get the hang of it, and then increase the tempo. It puts you in control, if you already know the assignment your teacher gave you, just move ahead to new songs.
