Siemens has unveiled a series of innovations in industrial AI and digital twin technology at CES 2025, showcasing how these technologies are transforming industries worldwide. Siemens is introducing Industrial AI directly to the factory floor, with its new Siemens Industrial Copilot for Operations. This technology enables AI tasks to run in close proximity to machines, facilitating rapid, real-time decision-making for shop floor operators and maintenance engineers.
The Industrial Copilot ecosystem aims to enhance human-machine collaboration across all experience levels, accelerating development and innovation cycles. During the press conference, Siemens announced its collaboration with JetZero, an aviation startup developing a revolutionary blended wing aircraft. JetZero aims to improve fuel efficiency by 50%, reduce noise, and achieve zero carbon emissions by 2035.

To meet these goals, JetZero will utilize the Siemens Xcelerator open digital business platform for designing, manufacturing, and operating their new aircraft, supported by comprehensive digital twins to simulate and validate processes. Siemens highlighted its commitment to democratizing industrial technology through the “Siemens for Startups” program. This initiative provides startups access to Siemens’ industrial metaverse technologies, including reduced-cost access to software and hardware from the Siemens Xcelerator open business platform.
Siemens is also collaborating with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to offer additional resources and support to startups.

The new Teamcenter Digital Reality Viewer, powered by NVIDIA Omniverse, offers high-fidelity, physically based visualization within the product lifecycle management (PLM) system. This integration enables teams to collaborate in secure digital twin environments, streamlining workflows and improving decision-making. In collaboration with Sony, Siemens unveiled a new solution for immersive engineering, combining Siemens NX software with Sony’s advanced head-mounted display.
This toolset, available for pre-order now, aims to bring the power of mixed reality to product engineering and manufacturing, offering high-fidelity 3D collaboration. Siemens introduced Designcenter, a unified software suite that brings together its design and engineering tools, including Solid Edge and NX software. Designcenter is designed to be scalable and accessible for companies of all sizes, allowing seamless collaboration and data management.
At the Siemens booth in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center, the company is demonstrating how its technologies impact various sectors.
