Shesaidit.ca provides a web tool for users to post and share their ‘That’s what she said!’ jokes with other users.
‘That’s what she said! ‘ jokes which have become integrated into popular youth culture are used in situations where a statement said by one individual, while not directly having such meaning, can be understood as an advert sexual connotation and is pointed out by another individual through stating ‘that’s what she said!’.
The site allows viewers to become participants without signing up, being able to add new content and share it with their friends on Facebook through the Facebook Connect application. The Connect feature posts the newly added joke on the Facebook Newsfeed of the poster.
The site also has a Twitter feed that allows fans to follow new posts as they are added to the site. Shesaidit.ca works to use new and creative ways to involve more users in adding content while also expanding exposure to a large number of new potential participants. Within the first week and a half of launching the website has garnered over 100 jokes.
