“The idea of Savvy Circle came about over lunch between two siblings in San Francisco, Jon and Kara. Kara was complaining about her job as they ate their sandwiches. Randomly, Kara blurted out, “I wish I could find out when things I like go on sale online. Everything is so expensive now.” And from there sprouted the idea of an online service where members could save the items they’re eyeing and be instantly notified as soon as the price drops.
