Samsung will host its Galaxy Unpacked event on January 22, 2025, in San Jose, California. The event will begin at 10 a.m. PT / 1 p.m. EST and will be livestreamed.

During the event, Samsung is expected to unveil its new Galaxy S25 series, which includes the Galaxy S25, Galaxy S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra.

The company has hinted at significant advancements in its AI technology, promising a more natural and intuitive user experience. “Get ready for AI that is more natural and intuitive,” Samsung stated.

“The next evolution of Galaxy AI is coming and it’s going to change the way you interact with the world every day.”

Pre-orders for the new Galaxy S25 handsets are expected to open two days after the launch event, on January 24, and remain open until February 4.

Galaxy S25 pre-orders and incentives

Samsung typically offers several incentives to encourage pre-orders, such as discounts on accessories, storage upgrades, and web-exclusive colors available only through its website. The Galaxy S25 Ultra, along with the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25+, will go on sale on February 7, following the pre-order window.

This timeline adheres to Samsung’s traditional two-week gap from the opening of pre-orders to the official sale date, rolling out in various regions globally. As an added bonus, customers who preorder the Galaxy S25 and complete the purchase later this month will receive a $50 Samsung Credit and a chance to win a $5,000 Samsung gift card. There is also a potential additional credit of up to $900 when trading in an eligible device.

The Samsung community and tech enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting more details about the features and innovations that the Galaxy S25 Ultra has in store. Stay tuned for updates as the January 22 launch date approaches.
