Samsung has begun taking pre-orders for the Galaxy S24 FE in the US, with prices starting at $650. The move comes as a surprise, as the phone has not been officially announced yet.

The Galaxy S24 FE is set to feature a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels.

It will have a peak brightness of 1900 nits and a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the phone will be powered by the Samsung Exynos 2400e processor. It will come with 8GB of RAM and will be available in 128GB and 256GB storage options.

The Galaxy S24 FE will sport a triple-camera setup on the back.

This will include a 50MP primary wide-angle camera with an f/1.8 aperture, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera with an f/2.2 aperture, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom and OIS.

On the front, it will have a 10MP single camera with an f/2.4 aperture. The phone will be backed by a 4,700mAh battery with support for 25W wired and 15W wireless charging.

It will have an aluminum frame with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ screen protection and will be IP68 water and dust resistant.

The Galaxy S24 FE will run on One UI 6.1.1. It is expected to offer seven years of Android updates and security patches, matching Google’s promise for updates and Apple’s unofficial seven-year policy. The early availability of the phone has raised questions about Samsung’s pricing strategy for the Galaxy S24 FE. The device aims to offer advanced features at an accessible price point, appealing to a wide range of consumers who want premium functionality without the high cost of flagship phones.

The Galaxy S24 FE is set to officially arrive on October 3rd. However, given the unusual nature of this pre-order listing, it is possible that the page may be taken down soon.
