R&R is a weekly print publication dealing with AM and FM radios, the people who do and listen to it, and in general all the aspects of the music industry which are somewhat related to record labels and radios. Though the site could definitely use a face wash in the design area, it is also clear that the information they provide is to-the-point and satisfactory to its target audience; for instance, you can find audience rating charts for all states, listing user preference by broadcast style (music, news, religious, as opposed to time of the day), with information on the past four measures which date back a year and quickly allow users to chart how any particular station is doing.
If you trust charts to measure popularity, you can get them from this site as well, and very detailed ones as well, as they have a top 40 for each imaginable genre, from Latin rhythm to Americana, to rock and jazz, with some interesting features as well: you can also find out what songs have been added to radio’s playlists more often, and also what songs have been played more frequently. R&R covers not only the US, but Canada as well. I was disappointed not to find any form of RSS subscription to the site, as by now it seems like a really standard feature of information sites like this one.
