The PlayStation 5 Pro and 30th Anniversary editions are now available for pre-order. The PS5 Pro boasts upgraded features like a 2TB SSD, advanced GPU, ray tracing, and AI upscaling. It is priced at A$1,199 for the digital version and A$1,360 for the disc edition in Australia.

The 30th Anniversary PS5 Pro bundle is extremely limited, with only 12,300 units available globally. It includes a specially designed console, DualSense Edge controller, charging station, console cover, vertical stand, and other collectibles. The bundle is priced at £960 in the UK and sold out within seconds of going live.

“This special version of the PS5 Pro console and accompanying accessories feature throwback design elements and a legacy colour scheme that pays homage to the legendary original PlayStation console,” reads the bundle’s description.

The first PlayStation console launched in Japan on December 3, 1994, making it 30 years old in just over two months. The UK had to wait until September 1995 for the PlayStation 1 to arrive. Pre-orders for the standard PS5 Pro and 30th Anniversary DualSense controllers are also available at various retailers.

In the UK, Amazon initially had stock but sold out within 45 minutes, while other retailers like Very, Currys, Argos, and Game are preparing their inventory. In the US, pre-orders are expected to follow soon at retailers like Amazon, Walmart, and GameStop. The PlayStation 5 Pro is set to release on November 7, 2024, just in time for the holidays.
